Garry Green has been based in the Cayman Islands since 1998, bringing extensive experience in commercial mapping, GIS consultancy, and petroleum exploration support from the UK. He served 13 years with the Cayman Islands Government’s Lands & Survey Department, progressing from Programmer/Analyst to GIS Manager. During this time, he authored two editions of the Cayman Islands Street Atlas and led development of the award-winning Cayman Land Info online portal. The department received two Special Achievement in GIS Awards from ESRI under his leadership.
In 2011, Garry joined the Dart organisation as GIS Manager, modernizing land information systems and introducing drone technology to support real estate and construction projects with high-resolution aerial imagery.
In 2019, he founded G2Spatial, providing GIS, mapping, and drone imaging services across construction, real estate, tourism, insurance, legal, agriculture, and government sectors via the G2Spatial Online Portal.
Garry holds a BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Derby, a Postgraduate Diploma in Cartography from the University of Glasgow, and is a certified drone pilot accredited by the Civil Aviation Authority.
